PRIMATES OF UGANDA PHOTO TOUR NOVEMBER 2019
Join us in November on a safari to photograph the primates of Uganda. Uganda has more primates than any other country in Africa and the focus of this tour, where we will spent 2 days photographing chimpanzees and go on 3 mountain gorilla treks.
Uganda is one of the gems of Africa, Winston Churchill called it the Switzerland of Africa in recognition of its landscape scenery. Uganda hosts almost all wildlife seen elsewhere in Africa including more birds and primates than any other country.
Our TBA day safari includes 3 gorilla treks and TBA chimpanzee visits.
Our mission is to provide the best photographic experience and guidance. Photographers of all levels are welcome. This tour offers a small client-leader ratio that allows for personal attention and customized guidance on photography.
Our tour includes:
Morning and afternoon day chimp treks in Kibale
Three gorilla treks at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Most of our photography will be outside of vehicles but for the photography within vehicles we will use three 4×4 nine seater Land Cruisers. These will provide each photographer with a seat and window and plenty of room for all your gear. We have chosen to use three vehicles over two to ensure space and comfort for all travellers.
Chimp Habituation Experience TBA
For three days inside the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest we will set out at 8:30am on our trek to find the Gorillas. Once found, you will spend maximum of 1 hour observing and photographing.
Where we stay
At the LODGING TBA the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one meter away from your veranda. It feels like you are invited into to home of the majestic mountain gorillas. But these gentle giants are not your host, just your neighbors, occasionally coming out of the forest to spend some time in our garden. Located on the border of the impenetrable forest and set on a steep slope the lodge has a truly unique setting.
MORE LODGING AND DESTINATIONS TBA
Our aim is for you to leave a better wildlife photographer than when you first arrived. The photography of our guests come before our own, and while we also take pictures, we will always ensure our guests have the right of way.
As in any natural environment, the wildlife comes first, we come second. We abide by guidelines which ensure that the welfare of the wildlife is not compromised or impeded by our presence.
How Do I Book?
Our tour groups are small (minimum of 6 participants with 1 leader to a maximum of 12 participants with 2 co-leaders) so space is limited.
